Two Stars Cooperate in Recording

Zhou Bichang (周筆暢) and famous singer Li Guyi (李谷一) cooperated in the recording of a song named Liu Yang River for 2008 (《瀏陽河2008》), which is based on another classical song Liu Yang River (《瀏陽河》). When she decided to record this song, Zhou Bichang paid a visit to Prof. Li for singing skills. In the record, Li’s natural voice combines with Zhou’s sweet singing. As is well known, Prof. Li has a wide range of voice (音域寬廣), and many of her songs are popular both at home and abroad; Miss Zhou is the favorite star of a large number of people who are deeply touched by the unique quality in her voice.

It might be said that they are brought together by some bond (緣分). For a long time, Prof. Li wants to make some innovations (創新) in the folk songs, while Zhou, after coming back from abroad, has also said that he hopes to add some elements of folk songs to his singing. It happens that both of them are from Hunan Province. What’s more, Li, as such a famous singer, has promised that she will spare no effort to help the development of the younger generation for nothing.

周筆暢與著名歌唱家李谷一合作錄制了歌曲《瀏陽河2008》。歌名中有“瀏陽河”，顧名思義大家可以想到，這首歌是以那首膾炙人口的經典歌曲《瀏陽河》為基本元素的。早在剛有錄制這首歌的想法的時候，周筆暢就親自拜訪李谷一老師，請教歌曲的演唱方法;而在歌曲中，更是由李谷一老師遙遠空蕩的天籟清唱牽引出周筆暢婉轉悠揚的全歌部分。李谷一老師的音域寬廣，演唱的數十首歌曲在海內外廣泛流傳，對全國人民和全世界的同胞、僑胞影響深遠。周筆暢是現在炙手可熱的歌手，聲音獨具特色，讓全國無數的聽眾為之傾心。

二人的合作頗有緣分，李谷一老師一直表示，她想在自己曾經的民歌基礎上再作出創新。而周筆暢在回國后也曾表示想在自己歌曲中加入中國傳統民歌特別是湖南民歌的元素。正巧兩人又都是湖南人。更讓人感動的是，李谷一老師作為前輩，為了對年輕一代歌手事業發展的支持和推動，不接受分文的費用。
