本單元語法：
1、掌握from…to….；between …and ….表示時間的介詞短語用法。
表示時間的介詞短語 between … and … ; from … to …
between … and … 和 from … to … 都表示一段特定的時間
between … and … 表示“在…和…之間”
2、掌握before, after, until三個詞引導時間狀語時的用法。
before, after, until 都可以用作時間連詞 ，我們可以用它們來引導一個時間狀語從句，這些連詞可以放在句首，也可以放在句中。放在句首時，要用逗號和主句分開。
before “比……早一點的時候”，“在……之前”；
after “比……遲一點的時候”，“在……之后”。
until “直到 ……的時候”。

3、掌握as/while的用法。
while和as是時間連詞,“當……時候”; 表示事情(動作)同時發生。
※當連接同時發生的兩個長動作時，常用while。
e.g. While Millie was watching TV, Eddie was sleeping.
※當連接同時發生的一長一短兩個動作時，用while或as引導時間較長的動作。這個長動作在時間較短的動作發生之前就已開始。
e.g. While Eddie was sleeping, Hobo went to watch TV.
As mother was cooking, Mary went back.
※當連接同時發生的兩個短動作時，常用as。
e.g. As you see him, give him this letter.
※注意： while和as引導的狀語從句在時態上必須和主句保持一致。
4、掌握副詞比較級和最高級的用法。(注意與形容詞的比較級和最高級相聯系
副詞的比較級和最高級與形容詞的比較級及最高級的構成方法相同，即單音節和部分雙音節副詞在詞尾加“er”、加“est”構成比較級和最高級；多音節副詞在副詞之前加more和most 構成比較級和最高級；以后綴ly結尾的副詞要用more和most。
e.g. fast ? faster ? fastest early ? earlier ? earliest
late ? later ? latest beautifully ? more beautifully ? most beautifully
slowly ? more slowly ? most slowly quickly ? more quickly ? most quic kly
另外還 有不規則副詞的比較級和最高級：
