它是名詞friend的形容詞形式,常常和be動詞連用, be friendly。

4、with prep. 跟,同,和…在一起

注意區別與and的用法,and通常用于連接主語或賓語,連接主語時,如果有I, I通常放在 and 之后,如:
My father and I usually play chess together.

5、day和night 是一對反義詞,day 表示白天或一天,night表示夜或夜晚。
通常說in the day, during the day, at night。

6、leaf n. 葉子
復數形式為:leaves, 類似的變化還有:wife—wives, wolf—wolves, knife—knives等。
7、hour n. 小時;點鐘
hour前邊通常加上冠詞an 表示“一個小時”, 即:an hour。

8、be from 來自…
be from = come from
Pandas are from China. = Pandas come form China.

學生分析:通過Go for it七上的學習,大部分學生對why/what/where引導的特殊疑問句已具備較強的聽說能力,而本單元圍繞“animals”的教學活動貼近學生生活,學生有強烈的興趣和好奇心,使他們產生了解的欲望,有利于引導他們自主學習。本單元的教學內容我是用了三節課完成,又用了第四節來復習。七班的學生大部分性格偏內向,不喜歡表達和展現自己,但大部分同學有一定的英語基礎,通過教師的恰當引導,能完成教學任務。

教材分析:本單元的topic是animals, 要求學生掌握一些新的動物名詞,學會用表示性質和品質的形容詞來描述動物,并能用“Why do you like…? Because….” 來陳述喜歡的原因。通過討論動物,讓學生了解大自然,增長地域知識,增進對自然環境的情感;通過討論自身的喜好及原因,提高學生的認知和思維能力。教材在第一、第二單元的基礎上對已有的語言項目進行拓展,符合學生的認知規律,循序漸進。

教學重難點:根據本節課的教學內容和學生對知識的理解程度,結合本課的教學目標與學習目標,確定本節課的重點是在交際活動的過程中運用句型Why do you like…? Where are they from? What do they like? 難點為重點句型的實際運用及why/what/where引導的問句的表達方式。

教學準備:教師制作ppt ; 課前布置學生想一想自己喜歡的動物,并簡單陳述理由。

教學過程:

Step 1. Warming up

Play a song named Doremi.

T: Did you hear a kind of animal in the song?

S: Deer.

T: Yes, you are great. Do you like animals? Do you like to play with animals? Do you like to look after animals? Our zoo needs a zoo keeper! Can you be a good zoo keeper? You should first pass four stages.

設計說明:用學生熟悉的歌曲Doremi 引出動物。整節課設計成闖關游戲,成為我們動物園最棒的動物管理員, 最大限度的激起學生的興趣。

Step2. Guessing

T:A good zoo keeper must be familiar with all kinds of animals. First, we want to know if you can name these animals. I/ll show you many pictures of animals, but it’s not a whole picture, only a part of the animal. Try to guess what animal it is.

T: Show the pictures of the animals to the Ss, let them guess. The eight kinds of animals are all listed.

設計說明:Stage 1 Can you name these animals? 第一關設計的是根據動物的某個部位猜測是哪一種動物,復習單元中的八種動物并要求學生spell it out. 學生們的積極性空前高漲,對于猜圖游戲,有時他們比較熟悉的動物,即使班級中基礎不是很好的學生也饒有興趣,既可以訓練學生的觀察力和記憶力,同時又不知不覺操練了新單詞,鼓勵他們開口說英語。

Step2 Looking and matching

T: You did a very good job in Stage 1, maybe Stage 2 is a bit difficult. Are you ready? Let’s go! In Stage 2, you should tell me where these animals come from.

設計說明:Stage 2 Do you know these animals come from? 第二關設計的是 你知道這些動物來自于那里嗎?讓學生操練兩個句型,Where are they from? Where do they come from? 喚起學生對以前學的國家、大洲的名詞的記憶。當學生完成一關的任務后,教師會讓播放一段掌聲,良好的評價更能激勵學生們向前進!

Step 3 Asking and answering

T: In this stage, we want to know if you can feed the animals well. I think a good zoo keeper must give the right food to the animals, so look carefully and make your decision.

Ask the Ss work in pairs to make a dialogue about their favorite animals.

A: What’s your favorite animal?

B: ... are my favorite animals

A: Why do you like them?

B: Because they are very/kind of ….

A: What other animals do you like?

B: I like …..

A: Why?

B: Because I think they’re ….

設計說明:Stage 3 Do you know what they like? 要成為一名好的動物管理員,必須知道給動物們投喂正確的食物。 配對游戲培養學生的觀察思維能力,學生眼、耳、腦并用,激發學習潛能。What do they like eating? 設計成chain practice, 把話語權還給學生, 學生是活動的主體。學生操練 “what do they like ? What is your favorite animal? Why do you like them? What other aniamls do you like?” 在這一活動中,待學生能熟練使用動物名詞和形容詞后,加入句型的練習,使枯燥的對話操練變得有血有肉,豐富多彩。

Step 4 An activity “ Help the visitors!”

T: It’s time to show youselves! If you were a really zoo keeper in the zoo, you should help the visitors. Make a conversation with one student as a model.

設計說明:這個環節聯系上單元的asking and showing the way, 根據一張動物園的地圖, 創設情境,讓學生把知識融會貫通,用所學知識解決實際問題,培養他們在現實生活中使用英語的能力。

Step 5 Homework

Let the students discuss a good route to visit the zoo according to the picture the teacher showed in class.
教學反思:本節課用闖關游戲來貫穿,To be a good zoo keeper! 四關游戲都緊扣本單元和前幾個單元的知識內容,精心設計的活動,積極創設能讓學生主動交流的語言環境,把課本材料還原成活生生的交際語言,既緊扣了教材,又拋開了教材,然后再回到教材。 學生們在本節課上的表現也可圈可點,因為活動量比較大,課堂操練的面也較廣,但因為涉及的內容都是學生比較熟悉和感興趣的,在老師的鼓勵下,即是基礎較差的學生都愿意開口說,有話說。每個學生進入活動角色,積極用英語思維,通過各種活動形式,把書本知識內化為實實在在的語言交際能力。本節課任務與任務之間相互關聯,并體現層層遞進。隨著課堂進程的發展,任務在其語言知識的難度上、內容的拓展上、能力的訓練上、意義的啟發上都體現了漸進性、發展性,使整節課教學任務一氣呵成。
