一般現在時除主語是第三人稱單數時謂語動詞要加s外，一律用動詞原形。
例句：
I go to school at 6 every morning. 每天早上我七點去上學。
Summer follows spring. 春天之后是夏天。
The sun rises in the east. 太陽從東方升起。
I learned that the earth goes around the sun when I was in primary school. 我在小學就學過地球是圍繞太陽轉的。
Pride goes before a fall. 驕者必敗。
