習語all right等于“完全正確”嗎？不！現對all right的用法作一歸納。
1．用于贊同別人意見或建議，譯為“好”、“行”，“可以”等，這是allright的主要用法。例如：
“Dolphin language？ Tell us more ．”“All right．” answered Mike．“海豚語言嗎？給我們多講點。”“行，”邁克回答道。
“Suppose we phone him up？”“All right！”“我們給他打個電話好不好？”“好！”
“Stand firm，Sam，”said Mr Pickwich，looking down．“All right，sir，”replied Mr Weller．“站穩了，山姆，”匹克威克先生回頭看看下面說。“是啦，先生，”維勒先生回答。
2．表示人“身體健康的”、“健全的”，并可用在問句中表示“Are youwell？”的意思。例如：

4．表示人“安然無恙”，東西“完好無損”。例如：

The computer had been all right up till yesterday．直到昨天為止計算機都沒出毛病。
I received your letter all right．來信收到無誤。
5．表示形勢、前景或情況“良好”、“令人滿意”。
Don’t worry． You’ll do all right， so long as you follow his advice．別發愁。只要你聽從他的勸告，你會干得很好的。
Is that all right for you？ I’ve done it according to your instructions.你感到滿意嗎？我是按您指示辦的。
Things will be all right soon．形勢很快會好的。
6．用于對別人的安慰，表示“沒關系”、“不要緊”等意思。例如：
“You’ve just 10 minutes to get your train．”All right， I guess I can makeit．”“你只有10分鐘時間去趕乘這班火車了。”“沒關系，我想我趕得上的。”
That’s all right if you don’t have to go to the station．如果你不去車站也沒關系。
It’s all right；don’t make such a fuss；there’s no harm done．不要緊，別這么大驚小怪，沒傷著什么。
7．表示不耐煩、不滿或惱怒，重復使用可表示極為惱怒。例如：
All right，（there’s）no need to say any more．得了，不必再說了。
All right， don’t do it if you don’t want to．好了，如你不愿意，就別做了。
All right， all right， all right， I’m just going．好了，好了，我就走。
8．用于加強語氣，表示“確實”、“一定”、“一點不錯”等意思。例如： “Please give your parents my regards．””All right．”“請替我向你父母問好。”“一定。”
He is our English teacher all right．一點不錯，他是我們的英語老師。
