【教學過程】
(一)Waring-up
1) Free talk
用What day is it today? What lessons do you have in the orning? What subject do you like ? How are you? What’s the atter with you ? 等日常交際用語進行交談。
(二)Presentation
1.開門見導入本單元詞匯,八個昆蟲類單詞,教學單詞insect及其復數形式。
2.出示B部分教學掛圖,引導學生觀察并說出圖上的八種昆蟲(用中),其中較難書寫的教師可板書示范,如:蜻蜓、螢火蟲、蚱蜢等。
3.進一步引導學生觀察彩圖卡片,更熟練地辨識八種昆蟲,還可嘗試讓學生從顏色、體型、特性等方面描述這些昆蟲,如:
(1)螞蟻 It is sall. It is black. It is very busy every day.
(2)蝴蝶 It can fly. It is beautiful. It likes flowers.
(3)蜻蜓 It is green. It can fly very high. It is beautiful, too.
(4)螢火蟲 It is yello It can fly. It fly at night.
(5)蚱蜢 It is green. It jups high.
(6)蜜蜂 It is yello It can fly. It is busy. It likes flowers.
4.教師進行描述,學生猜測是哪種昆蟲。(教師可描述得更詳細,也為E部分鋪墊)順勢教學八個新單詞,其中an ant, a butterfly, a bee要求拼寫。補充的描述可為:
(1)firefly It can glow at night.
(2)grasshopper It lives in grass.
5.看圖卡學習單詞后,可讓學生跟錄音讀單詞、齊讀、自由讀等,還可當堂默寫單詞以求及時鞏固。

2、Ask the students to read and recite the words in Part B by theselves and then do a dictation of the to check if they have been well astered and see who does a better job in learning these knowledge.
3、Ask the students to read the dialogues in Part C together and then ask the to do a pair work to practice the to check if they have well aster the knowledge.
4、Present the pictures of Part C on the blackboard and ask the students to try to write down the dialogues by theselves and then check the answers together to see if they can written the dialogues correctly.
5、Explain the eaning of the sentences in Part D and then ask the students to inspect the pictures in this part and try to practice the dialogues with their deskates and then ask pairs to present their dialogues and see if they can be well finished.
6、Ask the students to try to write down the sentences in Part D:
1) A: How does she spend her weekends? B: She often watches TV. Soeties she reads English books.
2) A: How does she spend her weekends? B: She often catches insects. Soeties she watches cartoons.
3) A: How does he spend his weekends? B: He often plays cards. Soeties he listens to usic.
4) A: How does he spend his weekends? B: He often draws pictures. Soeties he washes clothes.
7、Listen and repeat
(1)學生通過自讀單詞bee, see, sleep, tree,感受字母組合ee在這些單詞中的發音。
(2)歸納ee字母組合發音為/ i: /并鼓勵學生思考相關單詞,如:eet, weekend.
(3)用三步曲練習拼讀單詞的音標,再次感受元音字母組合的發音。
(4)熟讀句子,理解句子的含義。
8、Preview of the dialogues in Part A
1) Play the tape of the dialogues in Part A and ask the students to listen to the tape carefully and try to read the dialogues together after the tape and pay attention to the words’ pronunciation and intonation.
2) Ask the students to read the whole dialogue by theselves and single out the neords to consult the dictation after class.

1) Ask the students to read and review the learnt parts in this unit and then do a dictation of the learnt words and sentences and check to see if they have been well astered.
2) Ask the students to read and practice the forer part of the dialogue in Part A in groups and ask the to try to act out the part of dialogue and then ask groups to coe to the front to try to present their dialogues and see who does a better job.

4) 完整地聽錄音一到兩遍,了解短的大概意思,然后逐句加以理解,最后在理解的基礎上加強朗讀訓練,直至非常熟練。
