用What day is it today? What lessons do you have in the orning? What subject do you like ? How are you? What’s the atter with you ? 等日常交際用語進行交談。
（二）Presentation
1.開門見導入本單元詞匯，八個昆蟲類單詞，教學單詞insect及其復數形式。
2.出示B部分教學掛圖，引導學生觀察并說出圖上的八種昆蟲（用中），其中較難書寫的教師可板書示范，如：蜻蜓、螢火蟲、蚱蜢等。
3.進一步引導學生觀察彩圖卡片，更熟練地辨識八種昆蟲，還可嘗試讓學生從顏色、體型、特性等方面描述這些昆蟲，如：
（1）螞蟻 It is sall. It is black. It is very busy every day.
（2）蝴蝶 It can fly. It is beautiful. It likes flowers.
