教學過程
前3分鐘內容：
教師出示幾幅進行時態的圖片，讓學生以小組競賽的形式表述進行時態的句子，給小組加分。
1、Warm up （熱身）
活動一：歌曲演唱
教學參考時間：1—2分鐘
教師播放歌曲What Are You Doing?的錄音，師生共同演唱。
活動二：口語練習
教學參考時間：1-- 2分鐘
教師就學生所學過的內容，尤其是新學內容進行日常交際，目的在于運用語言�？梢允菍W生自我介紹，也可以是學生間對話練習。如：
A: My English name is …. What's your English name?
B: M y English name is …. How do you do?
A: How do you do? Where are you from?
B: Australia.
A: What are you doing?
B: I'm waiting for my mom.
A: Nice to meet you. Good-bye.
B: Bye.
2、Review （復習）
活動三：詞匯復習
教學參考時間：4—5 分鐘
教師出示第一時所學動詞短語的圖片，找能力好的學生認讀，其他同學跟讀。
教師說動詞短語，學生做動作，再次復習第一時的短語。
學生邊做動作邊說單詞。
鼓勵學生說說前五冊學生用書，特別是五年級上冊第四單元已涉及到一些動詞和動詞短語，注意比較動詞原形和動詞ing形式，注意發音。
教師在黑板上寫好兩列詞，讓學生連線并進行問答練習。

3、Presentation （呈現新知）
活動四：猜猜猜
教學參考時間：3—4 分鐘
讓一名學生抽取一張單詞卡片，然后躲在講臺后面。教師帶領其他學生問：What are you doing? ，抽取卡片的學生站起邊做相應的動作邊回答 I am… 請五至六名學生輪流上臺抽卡片，直到全班學生都初步會說句型What are you doing? 再進行下面的活動。
學生同桌之間背對背，一邊做動作一邊用主要句型問答：What are you doing? I am ….
活動五：句子接力
教學參考時間：1-- 2分鐘
學生五人一組。教師問各組的第一名學生 Hello. What are you doing? 每組的第一名學生回答后轉身問后面的學生：What are you doing? ，依此類推，每名學生的回答不能與同組前面學生的回答重復，看哪個小組最先完成游戲。
活動六：試試看
教學參考時間：2—3分鐘
教師播放Let's try 部分的錄音，讓學生完成聽錄音選圖的練習。錄音內容如下：
(The phone rings.)
Hello.
Hi, Sarah. It's John.
Hi, John. What are you doing?
I am reading a book. What are you doing?
I'm doing the dishes.
----What is John doing?
----What is Sarah doing?
活動七：對話學習
教學參考時間：6—7 分鐘
教師播放Let's talk部分的錄音，學生跟讀。
學生自己讀對話內容。
教師出示Let's talk中的圖片和道具電話，指導學生進行代換練習。
學生2人一組，練習對話。學生也根據自己情況，和準備好的圖片、玩具或實物，改變對話內容，進行操練。
做小雙簧的游戲：學生２人一組，一名學生在前面表演動作，如：畫畫，另一名學生藏在他的身后為前面的學生配音，如：I am drawing pictures. 讓學生兩人一組操練后，請幾組學生上臺表演。
4、Let's play （趣味操練）
活動八：打電話
教學參考時間：2—3 分鐘
做Pair Work部分的活動。學生2人一組，每人在一張紙條上面寫一個動詞短語的ing形式，如：drawing pictures，然后2人交換紙條，分別將紙條卷起做道具，根據各自手中紙條上的內容模擬打電話。
活動九： 玩一玩
教學參考時間：3—4 分鐘
做“看口型，猜句子”的游戲：教師指著黑板上的句子說：I am…. ，說到動詞短語時只作相應的口型，不發出聲音，讓學生看口型猜短語把句子補充完整。
做Let's play 的活動。請一名學生上，背對其他學生站好。臺下任意一名學生問：What are you doing? ，站在前面的學生邊做動作邊回答 I am….，其他學生根據聽到的回答在自己本的表格里做好記錄。然后換另一名學生上臺，繼續做游戲。示范幾次后，讓學生分小組做游戲。注意：教師里學生的活動范圍受限制，所以如果條件允許，此活動可在室外完成5、Consolidation and extension （擴展活動）
活動十： 看故事
教學參考時間：3—4分鐘
教師問：What do you usually do at 9:00 p.m.? 指導學生根據實際情況回答。
讓學生展示Story time部分的掛圖，手指掛圖說“Look! Zip is calling Zoom. Who is he? Is that Zoom? ，簡單表述掛圖內容。
引導學生聽錄音閱讀故事。
教師根據故事內容向學生提問：What is Zip doing? What is Zoom doing? Is Zoom answering the phone? Is his father playing computer games? 引導學生做回答。
請學生兩人一組，分別扮演Zip 和Zoom 的爸爸表演故事。
教師再放一遍錄音，請學生跟著錄音讀故事里的句子，教師指導學生的發音。
活動十一：練一練
教學參考時間：3—4 分鐘
做本單元A Let's learn部分的活動手冊P34配套練習。
教師指導學生理解題目要求，指導操作方法.。Listen and number 是按所聽內容表明序號，Ask and write 是在同學問答的基礎上填寫單詞和動詞短語。
教師播放活動手冊第34頁的錄音，學生完成Listen and number部分的練習。
學生彼此了解所作的事情，將伙伴的姓名和所作的事情填寫在表格里。此環節，教師注意輔導學生規范書寫。

學生分小組朗讀英語小短文，每組派一代表，小組之間競爭，根據語音語調的標注程度給相應小組加分。
Step 1: Warm up

2. Sing a song: What are you doing?（唱一首歌引入主題）
Step 2: Revision
1.Show students some photos, ask and answer: ??What are you doing?（學生通過句型復習五個已學過的動作）
——I’m doing the dishes\drawing pictures\cooking dinner\answering the phone\reading a book.(學生邊說邊做)
2.Students ask and answer in pairs.(同桌間互問互答)
Step 3. Presentation
1. T: What do you usually do on the weekend?
S: I usually……（通過對話，直接引出詞組）
T: But I usually listen to music. I like listening to music very much. Look, I have a radio. Now I’m listening to music.
2. Learn to say and spell “listening to music”.（學生跟讀詞 組，并拼寫詞組）
3. Show the photos, ask and answer: （從What are you doing句型引出What is he doing?句型）
——What’s he doing?
——He’s listening to music.
4. Learn to say the following four phrases and write down the phrases on the blackboard:（繼續引出其余四個詞組，并將詞組寫在黑板上，為學生以后的活動做準備）
washing the clothes cleaning the room
writing a letter writing an e-mail
Step4. Drill and practice:
1. Look at the photos, ask and answer:（通過CAI件中的模糊畫面，讓學生猜一猜他們在干什么，鞏固詞組）
Look and guess: （每幅圖片上三個動作，看誰記得最快）
There are three actions in the pictures, guess :
Who’s that? What’s he/she doing?
2. Do an action: Students are divided into several groups. One acts teacher and says “ Everybody. Do an action.”（做“每個人做一個動作”游戲。讓學生切實體會進行時的含義）
Practice the sentence patterns:
“What are you doing?”
“What is he doing?”
Step 5. Consolidation and extension:
1. Watch and listen to a short story.（聽藍貓的故事，回答藍貓正在
干什么。通過故事練習詞組）
1) Listen to the story twice.
2) Answer the questions:
What’s the cat doing first、next…?
2. Write and say: We are so busy!（仿造例子寫自己一家正在干什么，并以對話的形式表演出）
1) Choose the activities the family member’s doing.
Write them down and read it out.
2) Make a short dialogue according to the chart.
3) Act out the dialogue.
Step 6. Homework
Write down the dialogue “We are so busy!”

前3分鐘內容：
自我介紹：
自己設置情境，描述別人在做什么？小組討論，加分。
個 別讀，大組讀，小組讀文，也可將學生分成兩組，讓兩組學生之間展開競爭，給表現好的學生獎勵小貼紙，并給所在的組在黑板上畫一個大蘋果等，教師注意糾正學生的語音、語調。
S: Look at the questions and listen.
(教師播放件出示問題，同時背景音為整篇文錄音，學生一邊聽音、看圖畫，一邊思考這些問題的答案。這是教師有意在進行信息差教學，以此更好地開動學生的英語思維。)
T: Ask the questions.
S: Volunteers to answer the questions.
T: Award them.
(及時鼓勵和獎勵學生，幫助他們增強學好英語的自信心。)
Activity 3 Game
請幾名學生到講臺前，教師放音樂，并請學生隨意地做自己想做的動作，如：游泳，跳舞等，教師停止放音樂，學生們立刻停下不動，但是要保持方才所做動作的造型，教師提問：“What are you doing?” 學生逐一回答“I’m swimming.”。然后請另一組學生到講臺前表演，讓學生做小老師進行詢問，做動作的學生回答，對于回答正確的學生，老師要及時給予獎勵
